Ternyata Pemerintah Singapura tidak mau ketinggalan. Pada tanggal 28 Februari 2012, mereka mengirim 1 delegasi ke Kantor Pusat Angkasa Pura II sekaligus airport tour ke Bandara Soekarno Hatta. Tercatat sudah 8 negara yang menyatakan ketertarikan untuk berpartisipasi dalam pengembangan Bandara Soekarno Hatta. 8 negara itu adalah Jepang, Korea Selatan, Malaysia, Spanyol, Australia, Jerman, Amerika, Inggris. Kali ini giliran Singapura. Sungguh merupakan hal yang menggembirakan sebagai perusahaan yang sedang menuju menjadi perusahaan berkelas dunia. Sebagai pengelola bandara nomor 12 tersibuk di dunia, Angkasa Pura II kini layak disejajarkan popularitasnya dengan Bandara Incheon di Korea Selatan dan Changi Singapura.
Delegasi Singapura yang datang siang hari itu dipimpin oleh Mr. Lee Seow Hiang, CEO Changi Airport Group, dengan membawa 4 pejabat lainnya yaitu Mr. Yam Kum Weng (EVP Air Hub Development), Mr. Lim Ching Kiat (SVP Market Development), Ms. Jaisey Yip (Senior Manager Airline Development) dan Ms. Rae Huang (Assistant Manager Air Hub Strategy). Delegasi Singapura diterima langsung oleh Direktur Utama AP II, Wakil Direktur Utama dan VP of Aviation Business.
